I’m playing Assassin’s Creed IV on my PC but there’s a lot of lag. The game frames freeze a little every second.

I’ve tried to optimize Nvidia via the control panel but it reads that this game can’t be optimized.
Ubisoft has finally provided us the fourth and so far best installment of the well known gaming series “Assassin’s Creed”. We are now in era of Black Flag which is set in the year 1715 leaving us between Caribbean Pirates who have no rules in their livelihood. The game is really amazing with interesting gameplay and graphics. Probably this is the only must play game in this month apart from CoD Ghosts. I’m too playing the game on my PC and have completed about 50%. During this period I came across few problems since installing the game until first few missions. This was expected as this is high end video game. Apowersoft free screen video recorder online. Fortunately I tried several fixes and now am moving ahead comfortably without any more issues.
So, I guess you guys might also come across all those problems hence, I thought to share the troubleshooting which I did assuming it might help you guys as well if you also facing those problem on your PC. By saying problem I mean FPS issues, lagging, crashing, etc. I have covered almost everything I came across during the game. Hopefully it will surely work for you guys as well. Now before starting the troubleshooting I will suggest to first of all make sure that your system meets atleast any of these mentioned system requirements of AC4 Black Flag. APFS. Short for Apple File System, APFS only works with Mac running on High Sierra or later.

If you intend to use your USB drive only with a new Mac, APFS is highly recommended. The downside to it is that it isn’t Time Machine-compatible.
This means you cannot set the flash drive as the destination of your backup.
Mac OS Extended. If your Mac is running on macOS Sierra or below, this format is the way to go. Nevertheless, Mac OS Extended works with High Sierra and up as well.
This would work well if you think you would need to use your drive in an old Mac. It has some catching up to do in terms of speed, though.
On the bright side, you can use your flash drive to create backups via Time Machine.
FAT32. The most versatile in the list, FAT32 will allow you to use your USB drive on Windows as well as a Mac. In fact, it is the most widely compatible file system.
It works on most video game consoles, media players, and other devices. However, it can only support individual files up to 4GB in size.

exFAT. This is closely similar to FAT32 in terms of compatibility. It works on both Windows and macOS too.

If you want full compatibility with Mac, choose between APFS and Mac OS Extended. If you expect to transfer files between a Windows computer and a Mac, you should decide on either FAT32 or exFAT.
If you are merely freeing up space or getting rid of viruses in your flash drive, simply select the previous format.

Ok glad that you are at least able to fly using the Xbox controller. Of course it’s a lot nicer to use an actual radio, so I hope you will be able to get it working. Make sure you select ’Joystick’ as connection method when you plug in in (not ’Mass storage’).
What operating system are you running it on?
Do you get any movement of the little circles as you go through the Calibrate Controller procedure in Freerider?
There was an automatic Windows 10 update that rolled out some time ago that broke the USB drivers. Not sure if that affects you, but you can find more information here.

I haven’t tried that radio but I think there’s a good chance it should work. On Android, make sure you connect using a USB OTG adapter (which is not the same as a regular USB cable). 1. If you unzip the file on a Windows machine and transfer the file to your Mac with a USB stick it might work.I have also heard that it works if you download the zip using Chrome on MacOS and extract with Keka or Unarchive app.
2. MacOS is picky about which programs can be run (the first time) by double-clicking. To run a program that says ’this can’t be opened’, right-click the icon and choose ’Open’. You’ll be given an option to open the program, and from then on it won’t bug you.
3. For Mac’s having trouble installing FPV Freerider try going to the Mac’s System Preferences>Security and Privacy> General Tab and check the box ’Anywhere’ to see if this allows your Mac to install FPV Freerider.
4. For anybody who is still having the issue of the simulator not opening you need to open up terminal and type sudo chmode +x (fpvfreerider.app) and that should do it. It should look something like:chmod +x ’/Applications/FPVFreerider.app/Contents/MacOS/FPVFreerider’or~ chmod +x /Applications/FPVFreerider/Contents/MacOS/FPVFreerider(adding sudo at the start if needed).
After that you might need to go to your Mac menu System Preferences>Security & Privacy

I see, well I’m not a Mac user myself so I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to MacOS specific stuff.
I would still suggest trying to start from scratch as much as possible, deleting the earlier versions and re-installing the full version.
The first thing I would do, unless you have already done so, is to simply restart the computer and see if that makes a difference.
(One more thing, you could try to go into the save game data of Freerider and see if perhaps something went wrong there. If the data somehow got messed up you might be able to get it working by deleting the old save data. Hmmm that is very strange. Installing the full version shouldn’t affect the demo, or vice versa.
If you have already tried all other reasonable approaches, this is what I would do:
- Delete both the demo and the full version from your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Download the zip file for the full version again (just in case there was some error in the download)
- Unzip the full version, possible to another folder on your hard drive
- Re-connect your transmitter. Make sure you don’t have any other joysticks/controllers connected at the same time as that might cause a conflict.
- Try to re-calibrate in Freerider

(As you may know there was an automatic Windows 10 update that rolled out some time ago that broke the USB drivers. I don’t think that is the problem on your system though since you were using it without any problems basically just minutes before. I just thought I’d mention it anyway. You might be able to get the Devo 7 connected using a 22 in 1 simulator dongle. Not sure if that particular transmitter/dongle/combination will work on a Mac though.
On Windows it might be possible to get the Devo 7 working as a joystick by connecting via a regular mono 3.5mm audio cable along with a software called Smartpropoplus.

I haven’t tried it though (I’m not a Mac user myself). It will probably require some serious hacking skills to get it working.
There is some more general information in the user manual.

I think one of the best options is to get a multi protocol radio, such as one of the Jumper radios. I think a Jumper T8SG can be found for about 90 USD for example. That can be used to fly most real RC models, as well as function as a USB joystick.
You might be able to find a Radiomaster TX16S for about the same price too (although the chepest version is not multi protocol out of the box as far as I know).
Perhaps there are cheaper multi protocol alternatives too. I recommend researching for find the best alternative for you.

Otherwise, if you don’t need multi protocol, I think the Devo 7E for example can be found for about 75 USD. And the Turnigy-TGY-i6S for about 60USD. I think it will not be easy to find an option much cheaper these days.

Hi, the Phoenix dongle only works with Phoenix (it’s deliberate designed so by Phoenix).
I’m not familiar with the JR transmitters myself but chances are you might get it working with a universal USB simulator dongle such as a ’22 in 1’ simulator cable that can be found in various places.
If that doesn’t work out for you, you might get it working using the Smartpropoplus method mentioned in the manual.

Hello, generally speaking, in order for a transmitter to be possible to used for the simulator it either needs to have a USB port that can function as a USB joystick, or a 3.5mm trainer port.
(There is one more possibility, and that is if you can find a USB simulator dongle that has a built in RC receiver using the same protocol as your transmitter, or one that can be connected via a regular RC receiver (might quickly get complicated)).
1) no port no luck, 2) could at least in theory be used via a futaba compatible receiver and USB dongle combo, but it would take some hacking skills. 3) the Xiaomi 4K remote control can not be used as a joystick as far as I know (contact Xiaomi if you want to know for sure).

My best advice, if you are willing to invest a bit into the hobby, is to get a multi protocol transmitter such as the Jumper radios, or similar. Make sure you get one that can be used as a USB joystick.

Have you checked if the controller can be used as a USB joystick? (Sometimes the data cables provided by the manufacturer is only for firmware updates and such. The level editor will automatically save the level in the folder path where app is located on your hard drive.
You need to make sure that you have write permissions to that folder.

(If you are unable to set the write permissions for the particular folder where it’s currently located, perhaps you can move the entire app to another folder on your hard drive).

Not sure what the mystery controller might be. I use Unity’s built in input manager for the controls, I don’t think it can show the name of the controller it’s actually reading. Also I’m not a Mac user myself so I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to Mac specific questions. At least on Windows joysticks/controllers that are being detected usually shoes up as a generic HID device in the operating systems device manager. Perhaps you could try to temporarily disable the last thing that you suspect might show up as a controller (although I wouldn’t really recommended it if it is indeed some kind of security chip...).
My guess is it’s the xbox 360 controller driver that doesn’t get picked up as a joystick in Unity’s input manager. Did you try to connect the controller without any extra drivers first? Freerider should automatically use the resolution and refresh rate that your phone is set to.

Note that in order to actually get 120Hz update your phone needs to be powerful enough to render the scenes at full framerate. VR is also almost twice as demanding since it needs to render two camera views. You might need to select lower graphics quality than usual, and lower resolution.

Since FPV Freerider Recharged requires more memory than the 100MB limit that is on the Google Play Store, it uses extension files which are downloaded during installation.My guess is that when you cleared the storage the extension files got cleared, and Recharged can’t run without those.If you again clear all the cache and data, uninstall it,
